Drag Strut Detail
This shows the drag strut of the starboard wing, with covering already on the bottom surface. White bars adjacent to the 2nd and 3rd ribs are steel braces to keep the drag strut in column (against compression force on drag strut). You can also see that the drag strut has rivets in it; it is actually 2 pieces of round stock riveted together. All the white dabs are epoxy on the rivets to ward off corrosion. I also added some elastic epoxy goo (the black stuff) between the drag strut braces and rib pieces to prevent vibration wear.
