2-stroke decarbon
At 115 hours on the engine I removed the pistons to do a thorough decarboning. The 4 carbon-free spots on each piston crown are where the intake ports introduce the cooler fuel-air into the cylinders. The most important part of the cleaning is to get the carbon out of the ring grooves.
