Mechanical Testing

Equipment

  • Two 22 kip servo-hydraulic material test systems, both with digital controllers.
  • One 10 kip servo-hydraulic material test system with computer-linked analog controller.
  • One 70 kip axial-torsional material test system with analog controller.

Test Capabilities

  • Tensile: with axial and diametral deformation to measure true-stress and strain behavior
  • Fatigue: High and Low Cycle
  • Fatigue Crack Propagation
  • Fracture: Brittle and ductile characterization (ASTM E399, E813, E1290, etc.)
