Advanced Topics in Network Theory
Expectations and requirements

  • Read 2 to 4 research papers per week.

  • Attend all classes and participate vigorously in discussion (20% of grade)
    • -- You may miss two lectures.
    -- Arrange with Professor in advance for any additional absence.

  • Prepare and lead classroom discussions on two topics (50% of grade)
    • -- Pick 2 papers on each topic.
    -- Email references to Prof ten days in advance.

  • Prepare a moderate-length survey paper on these topics (30% of grade)
    • -- Due June 4th, last day of class (earlier turn-in much appreciated).
